Youth Referee Initiative
Molding young players is only the beginning. SYAA is proud to educate and support the next generation of referees. Many young players have successfully transitioned from player to referee.
Refereeing teaches communication, decision-making, responsibility, confidence, and conflict management. It is also a real job that can remain a flexible side opportunity for years.
We do not simply give young referees a website, tell them to take a test, and send them onto the field alone. We mentor them, support them, and help them become confident enough to succeed.
